A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (38%) and Petit Verdot; plum, spice, licorice, tire rubber and cocoa powder aromas are followed by tart, full-bodied fruit and smoke flavors with a warm finish. The acidity seems sharp edged for the vintage, softening somewhat with a bit of time open.
